COLUMBUS, OHIO (June 4, 2009) – Hopkins Printing continues to move forward with the achievement of G7 Master Printer Certification from IDEAlliance. This certification demonstrates the ability to print to gray balance standards, which improves the printing quality and consistency of a product.
Hopkins is not only G7 certified, but is classified as a Master Printer by IDEAlliance due to having all their printing presses certified with the G7 process. This applies to all four multicolor offset presses and their NexPress digital press. Press sheets from each
device match the proof and match each of the other presses.
Hopkins Printing achieved G7 certification after a complete audit and inspection of its printing processes at their facility in Columbus. The certification verifies that Hopkins Printing has been able to develop and manage the difficult process of critical color consistency.
The IDEAlliance works with organizations around the globe to establish these high standards. “It is a great validation of all that our people have done with constantly improving the processes that result in great printing.” said Jim Hopkins, the President of Hopkins Printing.
By becoming G7 certified, Hopkins Printing is part of a select few printing companies in Ohio and in the country that are able to perform to this high standard. Hopkins has always worked hard to continually improve their processes. “This is one more way we are able to improve what we do for our valued customers.” said Roy Waterhouse, V.P. of Sales & Marketing.
